Cloverport Community Museum

Contains historical pictures and artifacts of Cloverport. Open to the public, free of charge. Located on 415 E. Houston St.  at the railroad tracks. Hours: Sunday  2 to 4 p.m. April to October 

Breckinridge County Historical Society

Through the generosity of the Breckinridge County Fiscal Court, the Breckinridge County Historical Society reopened its museum in the historic Taylor House in Hardinsburg. Located at 108 E. Third St. , the building houses an important collection of historical memorabilia and artifacts from the counties history. The museum is the home and meeting place of the Breckinridge County Historical Society. The building is open April-December 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.on Saturdays. The building can be opened on request, call 270-756-2347 or 270-756-2867.

Irvington Railroad Station Museum

The restored depot/museum located at 243 N. First St. contains railroad and historical photographs of the community. The building served as a freight and passenger station for the community. It is open the first Sunday of each month 2 to 4 p.m. ET.

Breckinridge County Archives

Located in the basement of the Breckinridge County Courthouse in Hardinsburg The archives contains early records of the county which are helpful to genealogists in their family research.  It is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 270-756-6112 for more information.

Frymire Weather Museum

Located at 314 N. Chestnut in Irvington. Th emuseum is the home base of fmaous prognosticator and folklorist L.H. "Dick" Frymire. It is open by request. Call 270-547-3951 for information.
